About: A contemporary garden design in Hale that harmonises with the properties luxurious interior.

Following an impressive renovation, our clients were looking for a Landscape Designer to create them a garden than matched the level of elegant luxury that they had achieved with the interior.  The brief spoke of simplicity, clean lines and modicum of sophistication.  The challenge was to create a sleek,  minimalist garden without it feeling too clinical or imposing.  

In the back garden we achieved this by using an uncomplicated material pallet and impactful site lines. Simple but effective cantilevered steps provide a contemporary architectural feature that lead to a outdoor living room / terrace.  Also by restricting the volume of hard landscaping and using a healthy balance of planting including pleached trees for privacy, the soft landscaping knits it all together nicely.

The front garden and driveway continue the theme whilst providing a striking approach to the property.  Texture is added with the inclusion of gravel and stone pavers.  A long path leads you to the floating step and front door, flanked by multistep trees which add drama and height interest.
