About: The property was undergoing a dramatic makeover and extension when the client invited Robert Hughes Studio to create a contemporary garden design to compliment the renovation and work with the challenging and largely excavated and terraced site. The design features a variety of terraces to allow the clients and their family to make use of the different areas as the light moves around the space.  A modern and industrial pallet or porcelain, corten steel and tropical hardwood create a striking juxtaposition with a beautifully textured naturalistic planting design.
